“Sharp as My Grandfather’s Knives” describes various layers of rejection through an auto-fictional study of intimate memories as well as pop-cultural scenes that turn into personal history.
Lea Dippold (born in Munich, DE) lives and works in Leipzig and Berlin. She studies Media Art at the Academy of Fine Art Leipzig. In her artistic practice she combines research, text and textile to create networks of content. Her works deal with questions of visibility, cultural embodiment and phenomenons.
In 2019 Lea Dippold co-founded the non-profit artist-run exhibition space FONDA in Leipzig.
