GET TO KNOW CALDO WORLDWIDE
TOGETHERNESS WITH OTHERNESS
Caldo Worldwide is a cultural technology platform and publishing house dedicated to contemporary art practices that explore how we live with technology and other forms of intelligence: artificial minds, autonomous systems, algorithmic infrastructures, non-human perspectives.
We work with visionary artists who treat technology as material, system, and infrastructure. Code, algorithms, AI models, datasets, and game engines become central creative materials—not merely tools, but means for cultural imagination, speculative future scenarios, and critical engagement with society.
Through online exhibitions, the distribution of physical–digital editions and artworks, and research publications, we create spaces where human creativity encounters technological otherness—not to domesticate it, but to understand, question, and collaborate with it.
Our program brings together digital art, artistic video games, and simulations that function as technological allegories—making complex systems accessible, contestable, and emotionally intelligible. These works explore how technologies shape perception, behavior, and governance, helping society imagine and navigate collective futures in the AI era.

OUR MISSION
PIONEERING THE DIGITAL GESAMTKUNSTWERK
At Caldo Worldwide, we view video games and digital artworks as Gesamtkunstwerke — works of art that merge multiple forms of expression into cohesive, immersive experiences. These works are not just to be observed, but to be inhabited. Through interaction, players become participants in speculative environments where technology is not only explored, but experienced and visualized.
We believe that play is a powerful method of learning — capable of generating metaphors, positive narratives and analogies that make complex, abstract technologies more tangible and emotionally intelligible. In our digital exhibitions, such as the multiplayer AI-simulation Schema by Will Freudenheim, audiences test the boundaries and capabilities of different intelligences—human, machine, and non-human.GLOBAL ACCESSIBILITY
Through our browser-based exhibitions, Caldo presents digital and interactive artworks. We invite a global audience to explore curated virtual exhibitions that reimagine WASD controls as tools for artistic exploration and immersive world-building. These exhibitions playable in single- or multiplayer settings, immersive, and thought-provoking and engage with the most pressing questions of our time — accessible from anywhere in the world.
COLLECTING ART
In our online store, we offer collectible physical and digital artworks, videogames, physical editions, and publications that deepen the engagement with each exhibition. We believe the contemporary art market has shifted toward relevant, immersive artworks and Gesamtkunstwerke that emerge at the intersection of art and technology. From AI-driven artworks like the interactive simulation game “Schema” by Will Freudenheim to immersive digital experiences, we offer collectors exclusive access to the next generation of artists.
Consulting Services We offer tailored consulting for collectors, institutions, partners, and curious individuals interested in collecting digital art and artistic video games, or in integrating art&tech into their strategic priorities, events, and partnerships. ECOSYSTEM
Caldo is more than a gallery—it’s an experimental platform and network for artists, scientists, and technologists who explore how emerging technologies can become creative materials, not just means of efficiency. We work with both emerging and established artists, scientist, technologists showcasing interactive and digital exhibitions. Together, we explore new forms of storytelling, world-building, and critical imagination.
INTERDISCIPLINARY COLLABORATION
We believe that collaboration is at the heart of meaningful innovation. Projects like Interplay—a recent publication featuring experimental games such as Biotopy, Schema, Nephila, and Vivarium—or the exhibition Schema, an AI-simulation game by Will Freudenheim reflect our belief in co-creating with human and non-human intelligence to envision ethical, open, democratic and speculative futures.
We embrace global and interdisciplinary collaboration, curating our gallery program with international artists, scientists, thinkers and technologists from New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Berlin, Munich, and Mumbai — highlighting the digital space as a connector for visionary and forward-thinking communities.
SPECULATIVE & PLAYFUL ENGAGEMENTS
At Caldo, we see play as a method, and interaction as the beginning of insight and accessibility. Through our exhibitions, distributed artworks, books, and editions, we invite audiences to not only to view but actively engage with new worlds—provoking reflection, dialogue, and creative action.
