The lyrics come from music titles that have strongly influenced her generation. Embroidering the lyrics on linen creates a new context and space to internalize what they represent individually.
Lea Dorothea Dippold uses media like video, textile and sound. Her works mainly deal with the ideas of (online) beauty and (re-)presentation, femininity and the impact of digitalisation on our current condition of (western) society.
