The image was taken in a series of images when doing my street photography at the time in the area of the WTC. I was exploring views of the building, but also the scenery around, a part of the city that usually is very busy and traffic difficult to get through.

The artwork comes with the handwritten story.

The project Daniel Mayer Archive addresses collective memory as well as the subject of iconographic images and the intersection of both the photographer Daniel Mayer made during his time as an editorial photographer, exploring social documentary, portraiture and still life.
